US forces are set to pull out from their last bases in Iraq by Wednesday, a departure that is being celebrated as a victory by Iran and its allies who now have deep influence in the country where 4,500 Americans died during more than two decades of war.
US President Donald Trump said he has offered Iran nothing to end the war, rejecting media reports that cited US ‌officials saying he was willing to ease sanctions and release frozen funds for "concrete" steps regarding Iran's nuclear programme.

Global beauty brand L'Oreal Paris staged a star-studded runway show in the French capital, with pop icon ‌Celine Dion making a guest appearance to close out the evening.

The event held at the start of Paris Fashion Week featured models Kendall Jenner and Heidi Klum, actors Andie MacDowell and Philippine ⁠Leroy-Beaulieu, as well as US Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn and Italian Paralympian Beatrice Vio, sashaying down a catwalk against the backdrop of a lit-up Eiffel Tower.

Dion, who is in Paris for a series of concerts, was a L'Oreal Paris brand ambassador in 2019.
